Hello, I was wondering if we could bring the owning 2 house system back but with some changes:
If you already have 1 house and you want to buy another one it will be something like this:
- you own a 4 slots house (8-16 cars space depending on your rank) -> you will buy a 2 slots house which costs let's say 3 millions, in addition to these 3 millions you need to pay 50%-75% more because it is a second house, to make it fair with the extra slots you get from Transport Tycoon rank another idea would be to cut them when you buy it (instead of 8 vehicles you can only buy 4) which will apply only to the second house.
Advantages:
- you have 2 spawn places with personal vehicles on the map which nowadays is pretty damn big
- you can park more vehicles in front of your house
- not everyone can afford or have the time to work for a 50m house but instead they can get another 2,3 slot house with the conditions above
- it is pretty fair along with the total slots and money spent on them
Personal example: I have 1 slot and 2 bikes, I am a big fan of copcars and i want to buy 2 of them but I also want a truck with a trailer. Instead of selling my current house which is pretty cool and in a good spot for a 2 slot I can buy another 1 slot with 50% more money with only 2 vehicle spaces which will perfectly fill my car slots I would need (4+2).
Disadvantages:
You can write disadvantages because I can't think of any atm
Note: this system will apply only if you want a second house, if you don't everything will stay the same.

it's not like the old system at all, i made it so it will not be 100% be beneficial for players, it will give them half of house with around 50% more cost. I think it's ok
The only reason I can see is players abusing it by buying another 4~8 slot when they already have a 6 + slot house.

The point is you cant benefit the double extra slots from Transport Tycoon rank, also you need to pay more for the house (lets say around 50% of its price), this way players can't really abuse it
i dont see any reason posting suggestions when it will be rejected or will be on to-do-list but we didnt got any good update on server long time

Second house could easily be limited to a either 1, 2 or 3 slots, lots of them are available and demand for them is next to non existent. I don't think there'd be any abuse this way.

there will be limit 100% that u can buy only 2-3 slot house but i dont see it as abuse if someone has money he can waste it on whatever he wants
or we can change on 2. house if u r 10days in row off u will lose house without refund u can only get money back if u sell it something like that :D
There are many ways this could be nicely implemented and balanced out. This was already rejected in the past, but that was a time when there weren't enough houses for everyone that wanted them, and it was completely reasonable not to make it happen. Today, that has drastically changed and now there's over a thousand vacant houses that are most likely going to stay empty. I just think that the remaining players would appreciate it.

everyone who is actively playing could get a second and even third house. there are so many.. My name is Ethan, and I approve this message and also support this suggestion.
I have this planned for a future update. It'll be based on "total slots". Basics of it will be;
- You can't exceed or purchase a second house with slots exceeding your first "primary" house (/sethouse returns). IE: I own a 3 slot. I can't buy a 4 slot if that 3 slot is my primary. I can buy 3 slot or lower.
- Each house (if eligible) will have maintenance rates. Basically to deter the people that return every X days. This will be basics like "rent" etc.
- House evictions will be automatic (Joshy might need to assist with SQL in relation to this) and based on loads, average time etc. This will not be released to the public.
- House features:
- Labels (IE: Laur's Pimp Hut, or Laur's Slut Shop). This will require an active VIP status in game. If your VIP expires you cannot set another label on your property, or properties.
- Garage interiors like GTA V (still thinking about this. So not 100% definite)
Rank(s) and restrictions will apply. So when this update is done, a topic will be made in help/FAQ section explaining what it does/is etc.
That all sounds good except for the "active" VIP part to change your house name. Why does have to be ",active"?? I kinda find that unfair. My $0.02

I agree with Ethan here. If you're planning on making it an "active" VIP thing, then we might as well make every other VIP feature "active" only.

I agree with Ethan here. If you're planning on making it an "active" VIP thing, then we might as well make every other VIP feature "active" only.
That means you have to pay a monthly fee for every VIP feature. That is like you have to pay a monthly fee for every step you make.. Which is kinda unfair. The former VIP players have contributed to the server in the past and they deserve it to get something back for it.
Everything i said is just ideas right now. But sure, i've gone and removed the "active" part :)
