personal preference
As long as you have a compatible motherboard and PSU, those upgrades are fine. The 4gb 270x isn't really worth the extra money. If you're gaming at 1080p or lower on only one monitor, stick to the 2gb version of the 270x.
Sorry mine is a 3gb, forgot to add that part in lol :P and its the OC version so its a bit better than the regular 280
I'll probably be upgrading my CPU and PSU when I finish with my turbo build on my civic, so probably by june/july I should have a beastly pc
motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 AM+3 SOCKET
power supply: ROSEWILL STALLION SERIES 450 WATT ATX V2.2 POWER SUPPLY
I already have the 4GB sapphire and plan on adding a monitor if I get the money.
Why not a FX 8350? 6300 is way older ::)
you gonna give me the $200 I need for it? I submitted a build on a website, with my budget and how I was going to use it, and the 6300 was the suggested one.. granted most of the suggested builds were Intel, but I got a couple for AMD and I liked this one the best.
Had I been able to work Daytona Speedweeks and not screwed out of it by ISC (the company who staffs it) I wouldnt be having this conversation.... Heck, Im probably gonna get screwed out of the bike races at Daytona too, so I will only have enough money for one from just working...

I rather wait a couple of days / weeks and get the money for a FX 8350 than buying that 6300 one. Are you rushing for GTA 5?
not rushing at all, but considering the position im in, I get very little pay for my time at work and since I cannot find another full time job that pays more, im stuck with what ive chosen.

If you can, wait for GTA 5 and see how it performs for other people with your same rig. You will get some ideas about what to change :like:
I would go with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285 its the highest supported cpu by that motherboard and only is $40 more
the only thing im waiting for on buying my processor is money.... if I am able to work March Bike events then I can easily go for that Shane, otherwise I have to wait a couple more weeks.

wait, why should I go with the 8300 series and not stick with the 6300 one? the 6300 will do just as fine with what I am going to be doing, and how I am going to be using my computer for (besides games)
