To make the server more stable, more lag free and better...
How much donations do you need, epxressed in euros?
I'd like to know so i can see how much I can donate. If I donate i'd like it to be used to make the server more stable.
Yeah if he can tell us how much he pays every month or good host price, we can help to donate as much we can.
We just want stable server so more feature can be added to server.
Honestly, i might start making my Paypal donate 10eur to Mick each week after my payslip (Y)
I've sent him a email, to ask how much he needs for a better host, yet no response at the moment.

To be honest the reason why you should donate to the server is cause you enjoy the server and community and want to support it :like:
However I don't think mick should have to disclose financial information about the server

To be honest, isn't it so, that if you're donating for the server to make it more stable / less lag ... you care about the server/community ?

$25 pm is enough to run the server. But I can't guarantee it will be lag free. Even best host will start lagging if it's under attack.

The current host costs $0.25 per slot. $100/month would get us a decent host, but even a decent host will lag at times.

Most likely less lag.
Lag is something that no action can be taken against if someone attacks our address, but having 20+ players on creates the worst problem of lag. Although it doesn't really bother me (I have more patience), some people don't enjoy playing in the lag, and the number of peak players shows that. I myself am sticking through the tough times because I see the light at the end of this dark road.

Why was there no lag for a week and now its back again?
I'm guessing that our current host had a period where no one DDos'ed them, and now people are starting to hit them again... I have no issue with the lagging but to the point where the server freezes and kicks everyone off is just... enough...
It isn't so bad every time we switch IPs and move to a new host, but all the DDOSers always find us someway. When they do, hell breaks loose on the server. There will always be some type of lag anywhere we go, but a better quality host will fix some of it. Even if we do move hosts and switch IPs, we will be DDOSed and receive lag. A DDOS attack inevitable, but with better quality (IE Bandwidth) we will be able to sustain more crap being sent at us.
I found a host some days ago.The host got ddos attach and all server died but they changed the server ips and now they are in a safety zone, so the hackers can't do anything.But i can't suggest hosts.

Mick can only do so much for us. He has school and work I believe, so he cannot do everything. That's why he asks for donations. I have a lot of respect for Mick though. He is doing an amazing job :like:

The amazon host was all out of micks pocket, minimal donations, and it was 120£ a month

^ That, the mapings under you are disappearing all the time causing losing our missions, speedo is not working, gta V spawning takes like 2min, other player trailers are flying into you, login takes at least 4min....you have no idea how annoying that is ::)
But since crying wont change anything, I just better shut up.
You just have to be hopeful and wait out the tough times. An advert on SAMP forums could solve the playerbase issue, but nothing can be done about this lag until we have sufficient funds. Sufficient funds meaning big donations from people now or new players joining and donating.

Like reducing slots to save a money and use it somewhere else.
If nothing is done we will have to face the consequences.

You are using Onebip to donate... It charges you 175% extra so you have donated only 6 Euro to server, others gone to Onebip.
