Since viper really hate them allot, i would like to know if anyone in the server dislike them too

I like them. i think it gives a challenge to do over the whole month. On the last year presents, you find them in 2-3 days and theres nothing to do for 27 more.
This gives you the chance to do it over the 30 days with no ending.
You guys are just mad because you cant find any, and because its a change from what we have had the past 2 (3?) years.

This year's presents are awesome  :like: :happycmas:

Its hard....U have to drive all over map to find presents , it would have been much better if there was snow where the present gets spawned, and when someone takes it it would disappear.

add 'neutral' and i will vote cause neither I hate them or love them.

Terror also mentioned somewhere he was leaving when GTA 5 was out... and that's obviously a lie

I like it but i still don't understand how are the presents are spawned... I mean, their xy coordinates on the map are pure random, or there are some places scripted where they can spawn? If it's totaly random, then what happens if a present spawns inside a building for example?

It's random, and it uses a plugin to detect Z coordinate so they can only spawn above the floor (they can be on top of buildings?)

There is a 0,01% posibility a present will spawn into a mapped house. Why? The plugin gets really random locations around san andreas and the custom maps uses atleast a 2% of ALL san andreas terrain. Don't worry about that.

You should see how NPC's react under bridges with MapAndreas. Buggy as fuck.

Voted for maybe because, the presents now isnt bad nor goodbits between atm i have no good suggestion for a better present system

altough they are hard as shit to find i think is better...it will last longer ...there should be a better way to give us a clue of where though..

This system has advantages and disadvantages. Advantages like it is an even that would last longer than last year's one, and disadvantages like when there aren't many presents there aren't many chances to get one of them.

More will spawn once one has been picked up :) just watch how they are announced and you'll pick it up.

the snowing system as a clue was good. but now i have snow mod installed so it wouldnt work for us that have it installed....but im still goin with there should be snow as a clue..us with snow mod installed can turn it off if we lookin presents ya dig

Is it possible to make a beeping sound if you come close to the present

Its an idea, but it'd require a fuck load of testing, seeing as it'd be spawning in a constant static object, as well as deleting it once the present had been picked up. Let matias/mick decide. BTW, remove your sig please.

This year present hunt is actually a hunt, and not a one-way tour to each of them, done by your friend.
Apparently, some people expected the same boring and senseless routine again.

today was the first time i spent some time searching some presents. I really like it compared with last year. for these reasons:

   
• There are many days where you can  go present hunting, so if you are not in it fr the big prize, you can still earn something on other days.
• You can hunt every day, it doesnt stop when you find 24 presents unlike last year.
• I like the rewards, sometimes its just 2k but then its 18k or more and i like that.
• Also i like the fact this is something that cant be spoiled by others. No matter how hard you tried to do it on your own, locations and or spoilers would be given anyway.
• These presents are totally random, some take alot of time to find, and some you just stumble upon while doing missions cough cogh Rahail :D.

I like it, and to be honest, another RC bandit would have been so useless and dissapointing.

To be honest I have a RC bandit for 1 year and i've used it twice! But is good for players to have some fun.

And the Present System is good as it is.Don't implement a weird sound when you are near a present.It will be not fair for those players who have searched for present before.
It's a nice system and is not hard or easy.It is just very awesome!

Give everyone who find at least one present a rc car free, others can buy it.
