I made a third area in the rear of the plane for toilets. The floor lifted up, also the door is now smaller. The 1st class will be seperated to small "rooms". All new textures will be drawn by me from scratch, I won't make big hi-res textures, to keep the file sizes smaller. (1st class leather seat texture done)
Anyone have idea how to get working lights on planes? They don't want to work. Is there a trick to get lights, or simply planes can't have working light textures?

The seats, and other things are done, and I'm started to play with specular (vertex) colors in zmodeler, and managed to make the interior always bright, even at night. Even can seen from the outside at night:

(the blueish color is vertex light, the textures on walls and on the top aren't blue)
It's really buggy yet, there's a lot of refinement needed, but I just started to understand to even how to use this lighting method.

Some progress:
-new wall textures (those vertical lines will be removed)
-modified the vertex lights slightly
-added floor texture
-toilets in front (not accessible, I don't want huge file size)
-airline logos (I'll change the texture, I just made thsi in 2 minutes)
You can see the first class room at the rear of the plane, it's doesn't even have ceiling now, but there will be sofa, and tv and table, other things...
Also you can see the main problem now with the interior, bright light shows up on one side, I'll need to make new shadow model to fix this (I hope I can fix this). - needs some minor refinements, but it's fixed! Also re-added the blueish light to the seats.

Of course not. But if you have vehicles in the back and they get sideways, they may cause you to crash haha.

How did you make the ramp for the cars? It's fixed(not closable),right?
today's progress:
- new airline logo
- shadow bug totally fixed
- rear double wheels
- front wheels now turning together (on stock at400 there is a little difference between the front wheels angles)
- modeled sofa and light for 1st class room
- made the interior collision model properly (now you can walk in the plane even when the plane is upside down)
- some minor texture modifications
- started to make the plane accessible/drivable without any help (plane will be accessible by jumping on the front wheel, then jump into the plane)
I'll post pictures when the 1stclass room done.
edit: got working beacon lights! just need to find out how to modify the positions... - fixed!

Yes, the ramp is fixed. It is part of the collisions boundaries. It is invisible (you could add textures if you wanted but I didn't want them). So, you just have to know where to drive up to find the ramp....had some fun times with that mod C:-)
Also, let me know if you want any textures photoshopped for your mod

Managed to add more beacon lights (to the top and to the bottom, the top one blinking, the bottom one is always on), I'll make the default ones bigger too:

I'm testing now what blinking types are available to use... :) There is one which blinks so fast, like a stroboscope :D
btw I think with this method I could add blinking (or always on) lights to any vehicle (cars or other things)
I'll also add white lights to the end of the wings which will on only at night, the color blinking lights will be on always.

These will be refined, just testing...
Also I made the external lights reflect on the wet ground (like the car headlights)
And the plane now can driveable without the need of any platform... you can jump on the wheels, then go up to the rear of the cockpit, then you are inside the plane. And then you can press F to get to the driver seat. :)

I finished the service way from the front wheel too the interior, also finished the beacon lights (added more lights, made the color lights always-on), fixed every shadow bug. So the major things are done.
ToDo:
- 1st class room
- try to make way to the wings usingthe emergency doors
- make the collision bug-free
- try to make the rear wing logo bright or something...
- make the cockpit a little more detailed
- new door interior texture (the original is too dark, almost black)
- some details (lights, TVs, and other things)
- make the ceiling above the seats darker (to match with the walls)

Only problem: it's always on. I could make it to work only at night, but I can't because I'm using zmodeler... ::)
The problem is that zmodeler can't export these vertex colors properly, so I would need to use a script that made for this night vertex things. BUT that script works only with 3dsmax... - edit: or maybe this isn't possible for vehicles

I made a nice door texture with shadows and stuff, in zmodeler it looks nice, but in the game I only get the black line with jagged edges. The strange thing is, there are tutorials for gtasa with nice smooth transparent textures, but I can't get textures like those. Maybe this is a limitation for vehicles and smooth transparent textures are working only on map objects... I'm still not sure what will I do with this...

To get transparent or gradiented textures to show up, you need to save them as PNG type image in photoshop. Then when you import them into your txd, make sure they use alpha. All you need to do then is apply them in Zmod. Looks good!

I did the exact thing, and in Zmodeler it looks nicely and smooth, but in the game it's ugly and don't have the smooth alpha borders.
But I made that door to look like the front doors (see on video)

Well, I made some tests and I need to say, don't lift up with it if someone (or something) is in the plane. If you put a bike into the plane, the plane will explode when you want to turn with it in the air. If a ped is in the plane, then it can cause the plane to stop in the air randomly like if it would go into a wall.

I made big changes to the lighting of the plane:
-made the blinking beacon lights bigger, so they're now much more visible
-changed the (almost) whole plane lightning to diffuse light (needed to fix a graphics bug which caused by the rear wing light effect)
-modified the specular lightning so the shining light on the plane body looks more like on a real plane
-removed unneccessary (they were invisible) light properties and now the dff file is only ~650kb
I'll make another video soon.
