Theres no gangs like the Americas per se, depends on where you move to in whichever city, you get bogans (australian rednecks basically), but they talk more shit than they actually do.
Its fairly easy to get here, unlike the US you need a clean criminal record, you just need a Visa to get here really. (that im sure of).
