I was putting my new PC together and couldn't get it to power on until I realized I just needed to fix the power cable from the case. I had it plugged in wrong.

Everything works now. Once I uninstall a shitty "Super fast LAN" driver, internet speed went from 1mb/s to 30mb/s ._.
Now downloading GTA IV at 5mb/s :D

What is this "Super fast LAN driver"? you might want to have the network interface's drivers installed. Just have the correct ones.
Scores seems pretty good. Assuming thats an HDD the speed is never going to go above 6.0 with the disk performance.

The super fast LAN thing can with the motherboard's disk. I installed the correct driver for it after removing that.
What network chip you got? realtek? intel? you should never use the drivers that come with your motherboard CD.. Those are atleast 1 year old most of the time as they were burnt and boxed with the motherboard on launch. Download the latest and greatest from the motherboard's website or for some chips you need to download it from their own.

+1
but i believe it was the internet fault, not a old driver directly, probably both.
No, internet was fine because I was on my laptop downloading the updated drivers.
