Don't know if it has been suggested, or what not, but when we log on and have our friends we've added show a color (IE purple) so we know they're around when we hit the tab key. I dunno, just a thought cause us drunk guys would have an easier time knowing our buddies are around hahah

Just use /id <nickname> and it will tell you if hes online, or add your friends to your /c list and if they are online when you do /c it will tell you they are online.

if the friends/contacts would show up with different color (or not a dot but something else) on the minimap too, then it would be nice.
/c (contacts) if the person is online it will say name here (online) in your contacts list

I already requested it in the server itself, but no one got interested. I support this suggestion :D
Btw, the friends must appear with a purple dot on the map, too!

I don't get on as much Ethan, but I'll pop in from time to time and I think them showing as a purple dot would be alright too, or highlighted purple from the tab key.
I don't see what this would gain. Don't be lazy and just /loc [id/name] :)
As for the different color on the scoreboard. That won't work, unless you use a custom Textdraw. SetPlayerColor is used to set the tab(scoreboard) color, and the map icon color.
