Okay, so i bought a pair of Turtle Beach X12's, i think their amazing - They work perfectly for my xbox, but i'm having trouble with them on my PC.
I plugged the usb/headphone/mic into their appropriate jacks- But only the headphones work, and my built-in Mic is the only one that works - Its as if my Laptop won't even recognize external Mic's.
I'm running windows 7, this is really starting to tick me off, any help would be appreciated

I have a set of PX21's so.
Control Panel > Sound > Recording (tab @ top) > Turtle Beach USB headset [rightclick] > Set as default communication device.
If you want the game sound through your PC speakers still, just disconnect the green headphone jack. :)

Yeah, i've tried this -  There is no 'Turtle Beach Usb Headset'  under the recording tab, I even checked 'Show disabled/disconnected devices'   I'm starting to think my Mic jack is screwed, which is odd because i never use it.
