She means to say to comment on your profile.
I'm Neutral. I am sure that some players will insult.

Now we only need Joshy to see if he can make it works with this forum.
+1 for fun etc.
-1 for spam, insults.
Ok :o
+1
this forum will not become CTbook
just No
I don't like it.
I think it is fine as it is.
What for advantage would it have to be able to post useless replies on a forum profile.
If you want to contact that person you could use forum pm.
the main reason why i am against is, it would create another platform/area where admins and moderators need to check/moderate it. Its perfectly fine as it is.
Everyone else has said it for me, and as the big man once said;

/\ this
I for one dont want more work
Doesn't work here would be spammed with insults.
Not needed.
This could be nice , if the forum profile owner could moderate by his own his profile , like deleting the posts , so if there are insults he could delete / block the player who insulted him to post on his profile. That way , the moderators would not have any other work to do .
Agree , its not necessary needed , but its more like a chat between that player and other people , pm's are pm's (Personal messages) . and that are public messages.
Anyway , lets see what mick say's about it :].
+1 for nice, -1 for insults
better not :)
Oppan truckmania style
No.
Admins/ Moderators already need to control idiots and trolls in the spam box, I don't think they need any more work dealing with the hundreds of reports weekly from people abusing the system.

you are correct, this is why I dont want it, more work for staff, and that is one thing we DONT need
I recommend that you use the PM system, I know it is not publicly visible however it still satisfies the criteria for allowing you to leave a message for that person.
Since;
- there is no report function in the mod
- user profile pages are a fairly low-traffic area
- user comments in the mod cannot be disabled on a per-user basis
an efficient way to moderate user comments cannot be easily achieved. Users would have to use report forms, in which case if reports are visible to the public, the reported users could remove their own comments to avoid being punished, and even try getting the reporter punished for making a false screenshot. If the ability to remove own comments is removed, then what do we do about those who made a typo or chose the wrong person?
Even if the report forms were used, it is still time-consuming for administrators to process a report since they would have to check the victim's comments, find and delete the offending comment, then find the offender's profile and punish him accordingly.
I personally think it is a good idea in concept however the PM system does the job nicely, and it's too much of a hassle to moderate. It is up to admins to decide if they want this or not.
:so_much_win: It's Joshy!!!
Anyways, I completly agree with Joshy It's just more work for the person that does the coding of the forums, And the Admins/Moderators themselves. -1
I must say it probably would do more bad than good, players would use it as another way to insult, and as Konali said its another place admins would need to moderate, and also as Ethan has said, he doesn't want more work and I for one think admins have enough work as it is, and they do a good job keeping up with it.
