I don't know if I'm the only one who considers this a problem but every time I had to buy a new house, my heart was pumping because I was afraid I could sell my house and in that short 2 second window that you have to buy the new house, someone else might get ahead of you to buy it and I'll end up without a house. Especially when we're talking about 4-5 slots...there are lot of people racing for em. That's the only issue I have.
My suggestion: well any type of fix that will allow you to get your house back. Let's say you can have a 5 min window to get your house back after you sell it...anything would do.
UPDATE: actually there can be an easier solution. When you reach the house you want and click on buy, you should get a message saying "You're current house will be sold, click OK if you agree" or some shit like that.

you lose your house not necessarily due to a mistake but due to a system that doesn't allow any errors. It really ain't our fault. I'm not talking about selling your house while being 2km away from the new one, I'm talking about milliseconds in which someone might get ahead of you.
No idea if it will be hard to fix this but I would like to see a change before the new map will be launched cause it will be mayhem with lots of new houses that will come available.
PS - nice to see I'm not the only one who considers this a problem :D

when I bought my 3 slot I misspelled "/sellhouse" 3 times because I didn't had the lights on and couldn't see shit....and then, after I sold my house, due to lag or something the house menu (where you select Buy, View Info etc) wasn't appearing.
IMO house system is bad as it is now, so at least it would be less pain in the ass if this would be realized.

So you are wanting mick to fix a end user problem cause you were sitting in the dark with no light on and couldn't see what your were typing. I can type without having to look at the keyboard not even once.

When I am racing for a house, I go to the house and then whilst I am jumping out of the car, sell my own and then roll into the checkpoint and /buyhouse. All done within a few seconds.
you all should be happy you even have the option to even buy a house, have personal cars and all that... imagine the server with no houses, no owned cars... until that happens, stop your bitchin

:ukiddn: When you type /myhouse you have more options which one of these is Sell house. Maybe someone who does not know proper english will click it and then will go YES....
heres an idea, type /sellhouse, and press esc instead of enter. This way when you get to the house you want to buy, all you need to do is press 't' and then 'enter'. I cant see where your problem is

Well thanks for the support, I think I can say this was one of those rare suggestions that got only thumbs up (except some minor trolling and raging)...what's left to do is wait for the owner to realize that this really is a thing that needs to be fixed and take action...

What about some of us that bought houses while they were cheaper. I bought my 3 slot while they were still 5 million. Now they are 7 million. Would I be able to re-buy my 3 slot at 5 million or would I be forced to buy it at the new 7 million price tag.

I can see how this is a problem but what I do is I go to the house I want to buy before I sell my current house. I make sure no one is around and I sell my house and buy the new one. I don't think this is needed. -1
