Hello everyone, lately I have been having some problems with my samp and now I can't start anything so I am unable to play CVT at the moment, I uninstall, restore my laptop, and reinstalled idk how many times and nothing is working, I have NO mods installed and it crashes on startup, any help would be greatly appreciated. (Teamviewer would be great if I could organize a time with someone to get it working)

1. update drivers for everything (sound, video)
2. are your windows updates are up to date
3. clean your computer of old files, cache, delete temp files. (Possibly defrag if needed)
4. you reinstalled, ok, do you keep putting it in the same directory as previous? try a new directory and maybe even put a #2 at the end (so it sees it as a new installation)
5. delete the GTA.set in your GTA user files folder (this is the most often thing that works)
6. make backups
7. do you need any specific files (like gta3 IMG?)
8. If you are using a illegal version of GTA SA, use a no cd crash 1.0
9. Click gta_sa.exe & samp.exe with right mouseclick, compability mode, set it to another version of windows.

Have you tried installing it into a different folder ? example try installing to a folder c:\games\rockstar\GTASA\


If that works successfully take a full a duplicate of that into another folder say c:\gtabackup\


Then install your mods ONE BY ONE AND TEST THEM FULLY BEFORE INSTALLING ANOTHER ONE and BACKUP EACH FILE INDIVUDUALLY AND NAME THEM EASILY IDENTIFYABLE.


Also it will help if you tell us what your pc specs are such as OS, graphics drivers version, also with the os what Service Pack is it.


Also is single player working
