Post by: Stu on October 04, 2012, 10:02
Hey guys, I have a spare £400, and I want a new laptop that can run games pretty well, I have found two, but I am not sure which one is best. Can you guys help?

Second one, most definately. The CPU is lots better.

Thanks, I was thinking of going with the second one too, but the first one has a better GFX chip.

The first one might be bottle-necked by the CPU. I would prefer the second one, its probably more evened out in terms of specs, but in the end its your choice, and what you can afford.

Second one, AMD A8 series (APUs) can't even catch up to a Sandybridge Core i3, let alone the A6 catching up.

better answer is getting a desktop

For 400E you can get a desktop twice better than those laptops.
But if you only want a laptop, choose the second one.
