When I starts gta the objects starts to shift from good to poor and poor to good quality.
$nake told me it was mods and yes I know it's the mods but, when I tried with a less modded gta it was the same problem.
But I'm wondering if there's any way to get around this so you can have more mods etc?
My gta3.img is currently - 1 078 895 KB = 1 GB.
Thanks!
Way too big...
Save the mods you use now and get a clean gta3.img and install the mods, then tell the size.
:( Exactly the hard work I didnt want to do...
GB or KB??? there would be absolutely no way your game would run with an image that large... may just be a typo
1,078,895 KB = 1.078 MB
1 million KB = 1 MB
1 million MB = 1 GB
try getting stream memory fix 2.2

it's 1000 mb per gb
you shouldnt be worrying about 1GB big GTA3.img, mine is 3.9
you should try a cleo mod that tells GTA that there is more memory than 216 existing for it to use, also streamfix

so the streaming memory thing helps you improve your detail or something and allows you to be able to use more mods?

Wow??:O When you invent that?
1024 KB = 1MB
1024MB = 1GB
so
1,078,895 KB = 1.5360839GB = ~1.53GB
two different ways of that:
· 1 Bit = Binary Digit·
8 Bits = 1 Byte
1000 Bytes = 1 Kilobyte
1000 Kilobytes = 1 Megabyte
1000 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte
1000 Gigabytes = 1 Terabyte
1000 Terabytes = 1 Petabyte
1000 Petabytes = 1 Exabyte
1000 Exabytes = 1 Zettabyte
1000 Zettabytes = 1 Yottabyte
1000 Yottabytes = 1 Brontobyte
1000 Brontobytes = 1 Geopbyte
I was wrong 1000, not 1 million
your thinking computer memory type, im thinking disk storage:
