You're an idiot to compare a Bike to this boat thing. Hobo will have a lot more friction, and it's a lot heavier no doubt, go to school L2psychics
Yes.

473? Odd horsepower for a boat engine engine, my dads old boat had dual 175 hp's.
45 mph, haha, our marina speedlimits are 8knots/9miles/14kilometres. IN the ocean, its as fast as you can go without the water police catching you.

My seadoo has a dry weight of 680 lbs.
Your dirt bike has a dry weight of 220.5 lbs.
459.5 lb difference.
My seadoo is 47.2 inches wide and 120.9 inches long. Probably 25-30 inches of the width is in the water when driving and probably about 80 inches of the length is in the water while driving
That's ~2000 square inches of surface area
Your dirt bike's tires are what? max 3 in. across. So that's ~3 inches of surface area X2 tires = ~6 inches of surface area.
~1994 square inch difference.

Dirt bike: http://www.mbike.com/honda/crf450r/2012 -Don't know what year your dirt bike is but they all seem to be about the same.
Then there's the huge difference between land speed and water speed.
