Well yesterday I got my operating system upgraded on my Inspiron due to Windows 8 beta, and I've noticed now that it acts just like an iPad would if it wasn't touch screen. So I wanted to know everyone's opinion on the new system, even if you've seen it or not.
Later I will post pics of how it looks for all that haven't seen it yet :OK:
thx for info :D
Here's some views of the new system:

Looks cool :o
I dont like one thing..
Win Vista -> Win7 -> Win8.. all are looking almost same.. Win8 should change whole GUI* :o
Win7 and 8 have same start, and + Vista has same desktop icons etc etc etc..

GUI - Graphical User Interface
This is how i really think windows is going:
Windows 95 (alpha) > Windows 98 (Beta) > Windows 2000 (Piece of shit) > Windows ME (Another piece of shit) > Windows NT (Ugh) > Windows 2000 (First working one) Windows XP (Updated and good version of 2000) > Windows Vista (Shit) > Windows 7 (Upgraded shit from Vista) > Windows 8 (Cycle restarts) > Windows 95.
What that means is that the Win 8 is going to be confusing like 95.
Reminds too much of Nokia lumia and touch screen PC
Windows XP was, and still is, the best in my opinion. I downgraded my laptop to XP from Vista. Vista sucks and uses more RAM.
Windows 8 looks weird and I don't really like it at all.
Ya not having a touch screen computer screen or computer really affects with the look and function of the new system. And as informed by windows the GUI wont change much until windows 9 or maybe windows 8 since I have the beta test version
Ye, Win8's metro looks like you should touch it, but you cant :)
My friend is using WIN8 on his laptop and he likes it! :) I have also tried it on my server pc but I have the linux back on it :)
Well, i wont touch that shit.
Apart from spelling such a simple word wrong, Windows, I don't exactly care for Windows 8.
It'll turn out like shit, it's Microsoft's way of trying to catch up with the market, but they fail to realize that they aren't the ones who regulate the construction of their systems, so they can't have everything be a touch screen. Apple could pull this off since they have the whole market on macs.
Ya its hard to type on a iPhone so :gtfo:
I think I'll stick with Win 7. :trainsguy:
Looks like sheeeeeeeet.
I would like windows 8 on a tablet, but on PC, I will stick with windows 7.
Im sticking with w7
They better not start bringing out os default with new pcs
i downloaded the DEV preview and honestly i don't like the GUI it's new and all but very confusing and seems to work BETTER on a tablet device as the tiles are ....HUGE, i'll stick with WIN7 for PC use and WIN8 on the Surface slate that they have coming out soon, if you don't know what windows surface is
(http://i.zdnet.com/blogs/microsoft-surface-for-windows-8-pro-tablet.jpg)
that is what it looks like
also WINXP was and is the best and most stable version of windows that has ever been created and WIN7 is the closest to what XP was. oh yeah one last thing freight you can get a software well i forgot the name but it enables you to control your curser via hand gestures infront of the webcam as seen here.
that is pretty damn cool, I will look into getting the software as soon as I can fnd it :OK:
Just die already Windows! They making even worse version than Windows 3.0
I Like Windows 7 More

Yeah, Windows 7 All the way.
I'd been using XP for 10 years until I got my PC a couple of days ago, then I started using 7 and like it a lot.
When it comes to desktops, MS does seem to fail on every other product. Win 95 was shit, 98 was good, Me was shit, XP good, Vista Epic Fail, 7 good, 8 is a WTF?
I guess that's just their way to "feel" the market. If nobody buys their windows 8 with metrosexual looks, they will build their new operating system on Win7 interface.
Naaah. Im too lazy to try :P
Same old buggy crappy code, new skin.

Nah, I didn't forget. I listed only windows for home computers. 2000 is the NT line, and while XP (and later) belongs to it too, it's the first Windows NT for home computers.
I have mixed feelings about 2000. We had them in school and they were slow as hell. But it was a breath of fresh air in terms of stability comparing to the 9x line. Hell, I'd install it on my eee pc if I knew how to install 2000 from usb!
XP and 7 FTW. Windows 8? -> :gtfo:
