Today i learned, the GTA3.img always grows in size when importing a mod. If you go from a 10mb mod to a 1mb mod, it will be larger than it was with the 10mb mod! After you hit 4,200,000kb~ your game will start crashing, or freezing. So tip, dont change mods too often!

Couldn't you just say after it gets over 4.00543212890625 GB in size?

Use stream memory fix and you will have no limits for gta3.img file in size :D

Rebuild archive with imgtool and the size of gta.3.img be normal.

not fully true. i have it. and i had to reinstall this morning.
When I replace a rdtrain for example, which's 20 MB with a roadtrain for 5 MB I always delete the 20 MB one first, then just add the 5 MB. It works.
