is it possible?
a system that load ip info or a player who enter choose his default language and use local language for all server messages like rules or "Player delivered fuel from X to X." and send the player to a correct cb
example: Trucker Wannabe TestPlayer[AUS] enter to server. Before he type his password, he selects the default language.
window example:
QuoteSelect your default language:
- English
- Español
- Português
- Italiano
- Pусский
all server messages can be translated and added by us, players, using getlocalization.com
mick only have to put the translated strings on server

All players should know at least basics of English to understand the rules, be able to read /help dialog and other commands and informations as well as be able to communicate with server staff.
I don't see a point displaying dialog asking player for preferred language when he joins, just to take him away to some obscude CB channel where there's nobody to talk to when they need help.
Here's why:
1) Players who join server just want to play. The less dialogs keeps them away from actual gameplay, the better. Otherwise they just might click through dialogs without looking. I try to keep it at the minimum: mandatory rules and registration dialog.
2) If someone selects non-english channel, they will be sent to a potentially empty CB channel. Even if they speak some basic english, they won't be able to chat with other players, because they probably will not know how to change CB channel, and more importantly, which channel they should switch to. It's much better to just send them to the main channel where all the players are, so they can ask questions if they need any help.
If you don't understand english then you better not use the internet.
EDIT: Rules could be translated bcuz they are most important.
Almost everything in the world is written with English alphabet.
+ i think you mentioned that every kid in Brazil learns english from games, movies etc ...
And if this "was added" it would be one hell of a fight for languages. What do i mean by this?
My point is whole Europe, parts of America and other continents are playing it and they will want their game on scripted language, which would take a hell of a work to do. I will take myself as a example: I'm Macedonian and i think there are several Macedonians on the server. I would do anything to have Macedonian Language in game, who wouldn't ?
However a cookie is granted to you, at least you tried to help the people a bit.
