I was just thinking, I was at my fathers but I couldn't play on the server becuase of the account security thing. Is it possible to do it so that to active and deactive the security it could be done via email for added security?
Anyone else want to expand on the idea?
Nice idea. Its a secure way of doing it because only you in theory can access your email.
I say +1
the only way to enable/disable account security is to suggest it on forum(EX) because if you email Josh (lets say) he checks his mail every other day, you send him a request on tuesday, he already checked it so he wont get it until wensday...
all in all.. the forum is a faster, safer way to get it...decent idea though
Use admin inbox.
no no, I mean its all done automaticly via the ct website, which would be located in the preferences.
(You would get sent a email after ticking a box confirming you want the security on, And you activate it by the link that is sent to you via the email. Same with deactivateing it.)

but crimmz, lets say your account is hacked.. if you have an option to en/disable security for your account, you basically just lost your account
if you need your account security enabled make a request on forum and if noone has responded, do what Josh says and use admin inbox..
Account security system is already secure in hands of admins.
Making it available via email, wont make it more secure. If you wanna use private deactivation you can use admin inbox as joshy said.
As a word of advice it is strongly recommended to log into your account with your old computer then post a de-activation request. This way we know it's you since IP matches.
Maybe I'll make a tutorial on it.
