Title: time for truck load
Post by: xXpirrettoXx on December 15, 2011, 15:46
hello, why not revolutionize the server by putting the time of delivery only to the truck load? : D for example, to the time of arrival if you arrive late you earn less than you think?

Actually it may be great for truckers who are doing job and NOT in convoy. Like overloading.

Revolutionize? Explain.

Revolutionize the travel ... that is, you put a time to travel so it also solves the problems of people who are ramming so knowing that I am running out to deliver and to earn no mending but also because it is a way closer to reality in real life every time a trucker has delivery should not be the same because of cvt? sorry for my bad english but i used google translate :)

Look i believe u want to put truck loads etc on a time limit?

how would that encourage great convoys because they really take alot of time, also newer players that dont know how to find Wet county yet are forced to drive within a time window to complete it, plus: i personally do somethimes 10min+ over a load if i needto help other people means this system would punish me hard for helping others.

just a no from me

He is right, think about overload. You can overload while doing alone work.

I think that could be better : IF player unload his load under a time, he gets more bonus (like again overload), if not he will get normal prize. So that busy people will not lose money, just they lose bonus.

Hello konali if a convoy is normal that there should be a limit but if you travel alone, why not? so there will be many people who do not know that then ramming because I'm late to deliver .. :)

This is a terrible idea. I am a trucker in real life and im not "timed" thats stupid.

Nor should there be a time, for delivery.

Terrible

what you don't realize is that the more time you take, the greater the payout is. that is the way the script is designed.

if it expects to deliver you take more?

-1 for the idea becuase:

If no problem in a Roadtrain but what about a linerunner, People do still drive them and for some reason I don't think mick is going to time every load. Also this technicly would make convoys worse because you can not wait for othes incase you miss the time and if their are accidents.

hmmmm.. NO!
reason: all would rush to be first and imagine when leader would be slow coz he would use petrol..
it would be rushing-rushing-to-unload missions..
Title: Re: time for truck load

Nope big fail to be honest cuz people in linerunner cant make it that fast and lags and ram = more money lost then ever and people will rage and leave

so maybe do that like the /overload, maybe /timeload and you are getting a timer ... and ofc the time for diffrent truck will be another, for example Eyre -Bayside: rt - 10 minutes, petrol 14 minutes, lineruner 16 minutes.

+1 from me, its good idea, and if you are on -1 you will not use /timeload...thats all. Or if its will be the script, /work you are getting mission for example: Fort Carson Plant Hire - San Fierro Medical Center you can do the bonus but only if you want. So if you will loading you will get info: If you do this mission in 8 minutes you will get a extra bonus. So the ppl whos dont want it they will dont lose money.

I think its bad idea, cuz if you want to go afk? ;?
Except if you can choose in your settings, to do missions with time, or not. :? I dont know really. :?

you guys still dont understand my idea: ok.

If you want do mission and get a extra bonus by deliver cargo in time you will dont go on afk while you have started mission if you dont want just go on afk and do what do you want. My system is that to put the extra bonus for all mission, all the time. You are loading and you are getting info: If you deliver this cargo in 10 minutes you will get a extra bonus. But you dont need to do it in 10 minutes. Its just a challenge for ppl whos wants do it and get extra bonus. So its normal if you want get extra bonus you will dont go on afk, you will try to do it in 10 minutes. Thats hard to understand? Its more better than putting command for it, i think.

Well most of the time I, personally, cannot control when exactly I must go afk. & it would make people rush, cause more accidents? No the servers drivers are bad enough as it is. This would only create more reports, more fighting & more chaos.

just saying what mick said. and yes it was a while ago, so he may have changed the script since then.
