Aviation fuels here cost a fixed price(which the airports pay) unless crude oil price rises, delivering more fuel to the airport wouldn't lower the price for the commercial planes, but say a private pilot chose to refuel his plane at the airport, he would get the lower price(or higher in case less fuel is delivered). Is that even scriptable(wow tongue twister)?

I think simple is good. Keep it simple at first and modify it later if it needs modifying.

Yes, I guess it is. I have a thing for complicated things  :like:

sounds great, i don't have any mapping experience but it doesn't sound that difficult, if you look at some other features the server already has. We have the technology! +1
No mapping is necessary. All that needs to be done is have unload point coordinates plugged into the script somewhere with a little magic dust sprinkled around and POOF, airport fuel stops. Should be pretty easy to do...
Sadly it is not that easy. Airport fuel stations are totally different to real fuel stations in code, in fact it isn't even defined as a gas station, it's defined as airport (that's why you get "Joshy is entering LV airspace"). It's also the reason why trucks etc can't fuel up at airports, and since it's basically a gas station without being defined as such, it will always assume rate 10.

I'll consider this suggestion if I overhaul fuel systems. If I overhaul fuel stations, I'll probably end up overhauling GPS areas, parking zones and house/base boundaries too (turn all of them into polygonal areas instead of rectangular). And before doing that I have to optimise script to free up CPU time since polygonal areas are more computationally expensive than rectangles.

I wouldn't mind giving tanker missions the possibility of a "airport run", where instead of petrol you deliver aviation fuels and your destinations are exclusively airports. Might be an idea.

Ahh, I see the dilemma. Well, what  you suggested would be cool too  :D I'm sure there are a ton of people who would like to deliver to airports just for the fun of it. Plus, it would actually be more realistic if you are just hauling aviation fuel to airports, not regular fuel to gas stations and airports.

Will you choose which fuel you want to drive, or will it choose randomly???
Nice idea!! :like: :like:

I sense many surprises brought to you by Joshy in the mere future

* Emmie_US approves of this because it adds loads for fuel

How do you plan on unloading at an island airport with no road access?

Join a study technology and you will find out:

We can use this building on the East coast of Las Venturas. Map a road to it and put an unload marker in front of the building
as fuel unload for Las Venturas Island Airport, and map the same building on the West coast of San Fierro to deliver fuel for SF Island Airport.

Its time to think further then no, cant, not real, etc.

Why not make them as fuel unload points too ?

This idea is an enormous +1 from me. i love the idea. it would make for more exiting fuel runs :D :D

I think you use to be able to deliver fuel to airports waayyy back then unless I'm thinking of a different server.  But there needs to be to fuel hauling than the boring same old gas stations.
