Ban Appeals / Knight ban appeal
December 18, 2017, 16:58
Player name:
Ban ID:
Time and date of ban: December 18th, 2017. 16:50 GMT
Reason of ban: Teleport hack
Ban was unfair? Yes
I was banned by: Smokey (anti-cheat)

What actually was happening:
I was in a maverick with my cousin flying around LV looking for presents. I remember server being extremely laggy I even talked about it in the chat. The next moment, I got banned for teleport hacks.
I have been in and out of this server since 2012. Trying to hack in this server is the last thing I'd do. Tyler was online at that moment, although he was AFK. He might have seen something on screen from smokey. Maybe that could help.
For now, all I know is, I didn't do anything. I am 100 percent innocent.

Kindest Regards
Knight

I confirm that all above information is true and I am aware that posting false information in ban appeal will result in my ban being extended.

Hello all,
I am going to suggest something that will get mixed opinions from all over the server. It is my humble request to every reader out there, kindly read the suggestion thoroughly and try to understand the main objective of bringing this to server.

Please note that these suggestion are being said in respect to fuel missions only. All the other types of missions are excluded out of it for obvious reasons.

1. Paycheck at every DST
As you are all aware of the current system. You start a mission, you get a list of destinations, you deliver at them one by one and you get paid at the end of the mission. That is, when you deliver at the last dst.
Now, what if you fail to deliver at all the destinations for any reason? Like you run into water before delivering to last dst. So the distance you covered all around San Andreas goes to waste just because you mess up once, sometimes because of other players. You don't get a paycheck for all the dst you have delivered at. Instead you get slapped by a fine of 2500 for undelivered goods. How fair is it?
Is that what happens in general? Every fuel station that I delivered to gets the fuel for free because I failed to deliver it at the last dst. How does it sound to you all? Sounds rather stupid to me.
So I suggest that we get paid at every dst that we deliver, and if we fail to deliver at a couple of dst because of whatever reasons then we pay the fine for the remaining destinations.
I'd still want the paycheck to be received at the end of the mission, whether I complete it or I fail it. What do you guys think about it?

2. Timeouts and payments
As per the current system, if you lose connection to server in between a mission you not only fail the mission, but you also get slapped by a fine for undelivered goods.
Like the above suggestion, I suggest to be paid the amount that sums up to the destinations I delivered fuel at. It is the same suggestion as above, but an extension to it for exception of timeout.
At least we should not be fined for undelivered goods if we get timed out.
One will say that players will abuse it, they will do /q if they don't want a mission. Now, here is the thing. If they do /q to avoid money skip destinations, they are doing that on the expense of going through the long procedure of connecting to the server, entering the password, choosing class, spawning at their place, driving to their rigs, starting a mission and then driving to the load. So if players are really doing all this for 1500 dollars skipping a few dsts then the joke is on them. I don't think an average player would want to /q to avoid a couple of dollars dst. Also, we do have different parameters for players quitting and timing out right. It shows us in main chat who timed out and who quit. So this feature will only work for those who timed out and not for those who quit.
Please don't say players will start turning off their routers, that's pure lame haha
What do you guys think?

You do not get any score or loads for partially completing a mission.(Thanks to Xero for pointing this out)

-Please don't reply with 'I disagree'. Provide a reason for the same.

The topic probably says it all.
We don't have a warning that tells us that we are low on fuel and sometimes we eventually run out of fuel in the middle of nowhere.
Yeah it is obviously wise to check it manually every now and then but hey, maybe we are not able to focus at it all the time, specially when listening to music.
So I suggest a message in the chat saying you have 25 percent of fuel left, go to the nearest gas station to refuel before you run out of fuel.
Opinions?

Hey all
As we all know that players get muted for flooding (even if they don't do it intentionally in some cases) and if there is no admin online the only way to get unmute is by relogging which is pretty annoying at times.
How about we add specific mute time? Like if a player floods he gets muted for say 180 seconds and gets unmute after the time expires. If he floods again within the next 5 minutes then he gets muted for like 360 seconds and permanent mute if he continues.
What do you think?

Hello fellow members, I was playing the other day and I noticed that some players were talking about changing their SAMP font. They certainly didn't know if it is possible to change SAMP font or not, they obviously didn't know how to do it either.
Now without going in too deep of what is the reason behind me making this topic, I'd prefer to just start on the tutorial on How can you change font in SAMP chat.

Programs you'll need during this process :
-Typograf - You can get Typograf for free Here
-Hex Editor - You can get Hex Editor for free Here

Now when you have the above said programs, you can begin with the process by following the steps mentioned below. I've included the images with the steps so it becomes easier (:
  • Open typograf and select font of your choice from the many fonts you see. Right click on the font, and select properties.

  • Click on rename and rename it to gtasa. Click on rename again and save it on your desktop. Exit Typograf now.

  • Go to the font you just saved on your desktop, right click on it and click install.(You'll need administrator privileges for this)
For XP users - Read Note-1.

  • Now open Hex Editor, press Ctrl+O (alternatively you can click on File at title bar and click on open) then go to your GTA SA directory, search for samp.dll and hit enter.

  • Now press Ctrl+R (alternatively you can click on search on title bar and choose replace) and in search for field type Arial and in replace to field type gtasa. Click Ok, it will prompt you about file size, select Ok. Now save it and exit Hex Editor.

[/list]
If everything is done as said above, then you will find your SAMP font replaced with the one you chose the next time you go in-game.

Thanks for reading, if you have any questions feel free to ask them in comments below (:

Note 1 - For XP users, if you can't find install when doing right click on font then visit this link
Note 2 - Your game should not be running during the installation procedure.
Note 3 - If you want to find cool fonts then you can visit This website

Hey all,
I was playing today in a convoy and I noticed that half of my convoy players were unable to take the ferry because of the time and some of them ended up in water. Now, what I suggest is that when there is a convoy with say 4+ players then the leader of the convoy can use a specific command say /addferrytime to increase the ferry time by 15 seconds or 30 seconds depending on the size of convoy, not for free but on a fair price. (I'd suggest the price to be about $3,000)

What are the pros of this suggestion :
-Players will not rush into ferries and will stop for their chance to get in.
-Systematic and managerial convoys.
-Everyone gets to get on the ferry without any fear of getting left behind.

What are the cons of this suggestion :
-Players on the other side will have to wait for additional 30 seconds for ferry.
-Some convoy leaders(not pointing fingers, please don't feel offended) might delay ferry for fun with just intentions of abusing the system.

So what do you guys think?

P.S. I've gone though many topics in closed/locked suggestions and the whole list of Do not suggest list. Even after this, I apologize if this suggestion is repeated.
