Are european cars actually reliable in europe? they absolutely suck in australia. 100k odo and major engine issues, and other wacky shit going on.
You should also consider that in Australia the conditions can be quite extreme and wear and tear the engine quite faster.
Also Toyota's, Holden's, Ford's most of them can handle 500k without breaking a sweat. Falcons are famous for handling up to 750k kms and hilux's if you service them they can probably last over a million km's.
