Hi guys!
Welcome to my suggestion, this has been suggested before, however I feel it's worth another chance at suggesting it, giving points as to why it would be awesome, as well as a very useful reward that a lot of players could really appreciate and learn to love.
In CT, when coach missions were created, it was probably too difficult or maybe impossible to script it, so a bus couldn't be driven the way we'd expect.
In real life, you get on a bus which will stop at point A-B-C-D-E-F-G. It goes along a route, until it turns back around, and keeps going.
On Ct, it acts like a coach, taking people to and from airports, bus's do this, but in a more public style, rather than just "Staff" for a whole company.
I believe that now you've managed to script Trash missions which has multiple set points, it could be possible to script a stand-alone mission for a bus, giving people a reason to use it, as most people dislike it's poor handling and slow speed. At least with the coach you get 150+ KPH and poor steering
It will also pave a way to people creating new and exciting bus mods, much like how Nyclo8 created a coach mod (Sorry if i spelt his name wrong) which is amazing and even i have used this mod!
500k + /Taxi command, which gives you a list of destinations you can travel to for X amount of $$$$. Which CAN be used while you're a suspect, however NOT as a cop.
So it's not overpowered, when using /taxi there's a 5 minute cool down, as well as a 30 second wait while you "teleport" so you move from lets say, Whetstone to a landmark in LV, the Airport, you'll be stood still in Whetstone for 25 seconds, and the camera zoom out that's been created can be used, which will drag across the map, where you'll be shown at the 30 second mark (or there abouts ) Not only does CT get to show off sexy camera moves, but also the player gets the feeling of moving and not just "popping" from one point to another, as well as not being able to "quickly" vanish from cops.
If a cop is in /n, then the /taxi will fail stating "The taxi driver has noticed you are wanted and has abandoned you", which also stops suspects abusing it to troll cops, and although they can use it, they'd have to use it wisely and only for emergencies.
The only locations you can land will be landmarks around the map, including LS (which has some horrible spawn points, if any at all especially for truckers) and will also allow people to park in the more remote areas, or closer to their house as they can use /taxi to arrive at their trucks (if you add truck park menu).
Example of a menu system for /taxi
Amounts are an example, it would depend on your location, more than the "speciality" of the dealership. The longer you travel the more it costs ranging from $1000-$5000
The missions are simple, they'd be around LS, LV, SF and anywhere bus stops are located.
This could, if the server could handle it, pave the way for Tram missions in SF, however it's debateable whether that'd be just a grind going round in circles all day, possibly causing crashes.
I hope to see bus missions! It'd be a nice addition!
Thanks for reading!
