It would be cool if the tow trucks had flashing caution lights only when hooked to a car while doing /w.
The cars to be hooked up are sometimes on the side of the road and it would be a great safety feature for tow missions.
if possible +1 :like:

It is possible. Need to be scripted..
I like the idea :like:
Nice +1
Given that the ELM are not welcome here I doubt anyone would script it.

Thats mroe on the grounds of, mods that are visible to other players. I dont think this would be the case of a gamemode feature.
It also depends on whether its processor hungry.
Not sure how tow truck drivers are in other countries but here, the first one on the scene gets to tow the car and take the fee. Usually that involves racing the trucks to the scene, while 'racing' the lights are flashing too since they are driving at high speeds(I've heard some with sirens too). In my opinion it would be more realistic if the lights flashed when /w all the time - and can be turned off with a cmd like /towlights or /lights if you wish - until you're finished working. :like: :dislike:
I presume you mean the lights on top of the tow truck?
If so: We can't control them, not that i know of.

Since we can't have warning beacons, flashing headlights seems best way to do. Gives us some fun nub :3 xD.
Please don't turn into an admin that keeps saying No to everything.

Someone (DH) said up there that beacons on a tow truck can flash, so why have the headlights do the same? lol.
It just seems silly to have the tow truck headlights flash, and the police cars lights dont.
I dont say no to everything, i barely post in suggestions because one same opinion wont have an affect on anything, so dont pull that on me :)

Then have flashing headlights for police & tow?
If theres an object that flashes, we can attach it to the car(s). I just need the object ID, if anyone knows it reply :P , It has to fit on the towtruck though. Otherwise its the headlight method.

I'll do magic later once ive woken up. 3:20pm, still not been bed D:
I think ELM should be allowed for police cars, only police cars.

no, I dont want to see blinding flashing lights coming from your car. ELM is something that lets someone else see your mod, thus isnt allowed.

I hate flashy lights.
Fish just pointed something out to me,
this may not work as intended on mods, since it'll be an object placed on the top. Also, if the headlights are added, wouldn't this:

Isn't is possible to move the objects that get created by the server? like the vipobjects? The objects size/locations aren't synced anyways.
So it would be nice if we could position ourself the flash lights.
And about the ELM stop crying for fuck sake. It's not like you are going to see it everywhere, there are just 1 or 2 max cops online & you never see the towtruckers. SO GTFO WITH THAT REASON
