SA:MP FPS Increaser.

Hi,

Here's a mod i found yesterday and now showing to you (i didnt make it, i just found it). I use it primarily to remove the 100 FPS cap on SA:MP. I can now run maxed out @ around 250 FPS give or take 10-20.

Taken directly from the Github repo:

This mod does the following things:

Fixes aproxamently 30 crashes that can occur in GTA:SA.
Allows all resolutions and aspect ratios to be used
Removes interior music.
Removes clouds.
Disables parts of the frame limiter to increase FPS.
Fixes a couple of compatability problems with Windows 8.
Implements Deji's StreamIni extender CLEO.
Implements Ryosuke839's fastloader.asi - The game loads in about 2 seconds for me.

Once you run SA:MP once, it should open a config file along with a readme. You can then edit it to your needs.

Ethan, is there any asi script which not crashed your game? I think you should try with stock (hooodlum cracked) US exe

Works fine on mine. No mods and on a clean GTA SA install.

well I had an asi already and when I tried that with just the cleo file, it still crashes, and Nyolc, no, I dont have an ASI that crashes it, if I do, then its in another fail cleo folder, and I have a crack already, its one you gave all of us in your graphic mods release..

If it's a gta_sa.exe crack then its definitely illegal. Otherwise, where's the source for this exe you speak of?

The cracked one handles mods better than original. You can see that people on gtaforums.com recommends hoodlum exe over original for mods. If you bought the game then why would it be illegal to play it with another exe?

edit: this works fine for me, game loads in 2sec for me too, but there is no player character in samp_debug lol. Not just the model missing but I can't even move.

So whats the difference between passing around the game executables and passing around the torrent link? isn't that the same thing? yet torrent linking isn't allowed here? wierd as fuck.

Okay, it's crashes in SAMP for me too.

edit: found the problem, it's the CLEO engine itself. If you turn that off, it's working. I think this because CLEO loading after the game loaded, and this asi changes the way how the game load, and that causes the crash.

edit2: after looking the crashes.cfg file, I think you can achieve same (or similar) things with this cleo script: http://gtaforums.com/topic/463745-cleo-34stream-ini-extender/

I found this mod weeks ago and I love it as it makes restarting SA-MP a lot quicker (a scripter's godsend if your GTA SA crashes after alt+tabbing a lot).

I have run CLEO + CLEO stream mem extender + many cheat tools that use 'd3d9.dll' (anti-cheat improvements) without problem together so works fine for me.

My only problem with it is that sometimes GTA SA won't maximize after alt+tabbing back into it, fixable by tabbing out and back in.

I downloaded nyloc's graphics thing and installed everything and got the hoodlum exe, I'm scared to install icenhancer because I don't wanna fuck everything up lol. Mind you you need a pretty good pc to do this at a good fps, I was getting about 15-25 looking over the whole map with my brand new radeon r9 280x

Ive had draw distance like that before, but cant remember the combination of exe and files to get it to work.. I have always used the no cd crack and did when I got it to work the first time... I guess I need to make another directory tor test game with original default files and try it then..

Drag and drop the ASI into your installation directory (half alseep so i could be completely wrong). You'll also need an ASI loader

download samp increaser (should be a .asi file) + asi loader (should be few .dll files)
copy all into main folder (where gta_sa.exe is), run, profit!

i should also mention that having a framerate higher than your monitors refresh rate (60, 75, 144Hz) is pointless
