How much time do you usually need to convert a mod and what software do you use ?

4~6 hours, I use Zmodeler 2.2.6 and Zmodeler 3

Ok, fuck it, I had enough begging for mods, I'll learn how to convert them. I found a tutorial for convrrting cars from forza to sa, is that any good? From what I've seen so far, you have to import the mod part by part and assign a material to each of them.

With zmod 3 you can import .pmg  (base of truck from ats) in this program to edit it. You're not able to import in zmod 2.2.6. After importing in zmod 3 you can transfer to zmod 2.2.6, and after exporting it in .dff file for GTA.
But you have to convert light/wheels flares to be compatible with gta sa, and create openable doors etc.

ATS > Zmod 3 > Zmod 2.2.6 > GTA SA
Because zmod 2.2.6 won't support .pmg files from ATS and ETS2

Yeah I see now, is .pmg a popular file extension in games? Or just ets/ats? Was looking to convert a car from Project Cars but can't define what extension the models are in this game.

Just ETS1 GTS (German Truck Simulator) ETS2 and ATS use .pmg
Ets1 and GTS .pmg could be imported in directly in Zmod 2.2.6, ETS2 and ATS .pmg file need to be converted with Zmod3 or other programs for being imported in Zmod 2.2.6

Just so you know, I kinda tried everything, I highly doubt there's anyway to avoid that trailer lights crap with the samp addon installed. Tried everything, nothing works =/
