I was against this because there clearly wouldnt be enough businesses to be shared between everyone, giving less chances of actually owning a business. Fights and complaints would break out about anything and everything.

There will not be enough business to all the players, most of them would keep complaining that the owner is inactive and getting money out of nowhere. If theres a possibility we could script 20000 business then it could be an wesome idea.

So much Shop, Gas Station, Casino, Motel, Hospital etc, etc ...  If Scripter can add this it will be awesome 

Some players are really bored to do nothing with money ... Buy x1000 cars isn't fun

Im with Sandman. there are not enough businesses as there is now to make it competitive.. if this were to be done, I would suggest that you only own 1 business at a time and for a specified amount of time  1-3 RL days

automatically remove the owner from the business after two weeks offline? seems harsh but if you want to make the money you must be active, also only get paychecks using ingame time, same way as interest system now

You could allow any player to buy 'stock' in a company and gain a small amount from it while they're online (like bank interest).

This would allow everyone to be able to own a part of a company and gain a bit of money on the side but only while they're online.

You'd only be able to own stock in X amount of companies at a time.

It would be randomly generated and you receive your money after you've been online for X time. The timer shouldn't go down while you're offline or if you've been idle for 5+ minutes.

Say a stock in a certain business costs 100k. You'd get a random number between say 1k - 20k every X days you're online.

basically rewrite the interest system to include purchases of some company or something like it and have it pay out however many days

Add businesses. And for those who can't be a owner of these let us be able to get (buy) stocks from them  I was against this but this could be a little more realism and another way to make some cash
