I was against this, simply because theres too many variables that cant be controlled. Players pings/connection could make spike strips laggy. What if you put a spike strip down and the suspect turns around, but he comes back. How long do you put the spike strip down without abusing it for innocent traffic get involved?

As I said, it only punctures the tires of suspects. If innocent player pass over them, nothing happens.

+1 But only if you can use it when a wanted thiefs/truckers are near, and spikes should only work on wanted guys, otherwise the regular truckers might lose their tires and start insulting the cops

If you can use 1 spike in every 60sec then it wont be abused ^^

Pros:
could/would be used to arrest thieves only
would help cops arrest faster

Cons:
could be abused if regular player were nearby
would have to make so only cops  in cop cars use it
would have to have a timer for use (dont want it out for 3 minutes)
would have to make it so you can only use it so often, not every 5 secs

Admins/mods may add more after many same suggestions.

Atleast let people buy spike strips in shop for 10-15k each IF this gets added...
This will prevent a lot of abuse but still I don't like it... Way to much abuse... CnR servers are there for this shit (I agree with Rah).

What about people doing house robs? if cop knows where he will unload he will just drop the spikestrip there when he gets close, and house robbing is hard enough with a slow ass boxburg.

i do not think cops need this , simple because the advantage for cops vs thiefs is large already. Only securicar farming is the most likely way you wont arrest them.
