Hi... Just asking...
Can a 700hp racing engine pull the same heavy weight as the 700hp Volvo FH?
I've seen 2400hp racing engine, if it's capable, why don't truck manufacturers install them.
And btw, how about it's displacement?

I dont think 700 HP petrol engine can do same as 700 HP diesel, due to diesel brings more torque with sacrifice of  light engine and low noise level and speed.
Diesel engines beats the fuck out of petrols in torque, fuel consumption.. And thats about it.
in world of logistics you want torque not speed. Who gives shit if you can go 200kph but you cant pull anything behind you. say 60 tons together.

Different engines made for two very different things, if you were to have mega torque on a racing engine you would just spin and spin the tires when you go to pop the clutch. As with a racing engine in a truck, it would have the power, but very few gears compared to regular trucks, and it isn't made to be good with gas consumption and it would be very slow acceleration due to small amount of gears and the weight
