Hi, I made a SAMP server name generator. If people get bored they just click there gamemode. There is a Suggestions button in the Program to send suggestions. I will release it soon. All I have to do is post some more names and its ready.

You should (well must) include source code in order to prove that your project is not malicious, I've posted programs here before and they got taken down until I posted source, albeit this was a few months ago before my mod / admin days.

How you prove it's not malicious??
And a program made by a player that is banned, me by myself i will never try it.

I never said your script were malicious, i recommended you to post the SOURCE since you are a banned player and you would be posting a program for innocents players of CT for malicious activity.

just STOP now.. you have no proof if its malicious or not and please do not bring the fact the a player may be banned into the picture... epix is human, let him post the program if he wants, if you want the source code to check it out, have him PM it to you to look over...   just stop the bullshitting NOW!!

I, for one, tread really lightly on which closed-source programs I download. Typically, they are only from reputable companies with large user-bases. Now, when you have someone releasing a program that he made on his own, without a userbase, and without a reputation, I will ALWAYS use caution.

Releasing source code is NOT a bad thing. Quite the contrary, it actually tends to make software better. People can look at the source code (of anything that is open source, not just this in paticular) and learn from it. Open source serves a dual purpose.

Now, to get to this instance. I, for one, will NOT be downloading this without first seeing the source code. It's not a matter of not trusting Epix, its a matter of protecting MY computer and MY personal information. Also, the quotes from Joshy prove an excellent point, that if software is released to the CVT forums, it should contain the source, as if it doesn't, how are we to know if the program is malicious or not.

Well.... You could download it and scan it. 4 people I know of have scanned it. Came up clean. I take pride in what I do. I've released every software I made. I don't like viruses my self. I understand where you all are coming from on the Source code. My computer has been hacked by a program before. and when I release it. Idk if you can put a Virus in a .exe. Never tried and Never will. I will post a Pre-Release.

I did not know that. and this Program has no Installer. as it was made with Visual Studio Express.

So its a simple download and open? I don't have a clue about programs/software, so I'm gonna take the risk I got nothing to loose. I'll download it to a thumb drive, go home, drag, drop away we go, and let you know if it has a virus
