Personally I think you should be able to purchase a on-board computer which gives you better details on the display. Like;

Speed: 78kph
State: 77%
Fuel: 43% / 12.4km
Odo: 487.5km
Trip: 3.3km

With the "trip distance" being resettable by a command.

But this suggestion, yeah why not.

I like Joshy's idea and I think that this suggestion would be nice too, but you could change the llllll..... to Percent and back in the /preferences. So everybody could use the one he likes best.
