Cops on/off duty

My suggestion is this: cops can turn on/off their duties, as a strategy for catching thieves. When the cop is in off duty status he can't do cop jobs and he's not marked in blue on the map - so he can approach the thieves without the look of thief. Then, he turn on duty and can fine/arrest again.

We can have a limit of time to change the status, like 5~10 minutes...

If this was implemented, cops would often go off duty and then camp for houses, idle, joyride... They would do all the things that  are supposed to be done while in trucker class. -1

if you are cop and you dont want to do cop duties, reclass, simple as that

I dont like this, although, i like what $nake said.
/undercover or /uc will make you an undercover cop. You will have a car that is not labeled, although on the radar you are a purple, or brown or something. Also no sirens

No to both the original suggestion and /undercover.

Why? If cops go undercover, admins (and players) can't see that they are cop so it could be used as a means to break cop rules. Also, I can guarantee cops will go undercover 90% of their cop duty because they want easier cop arrests, when the cop achievement is easy enough as it is.
