My views on CVT.

I recently returned to CVT, and the way things have changed has shocked me.

When I used to be here, last year, everyone had respect for eachother and spoke to eachother like civilised people. Player reports and ban appeals were handled calmly, and the people who were banned, warned or spoken to would, in most cases, accept their punishment without arguing or insulting.

The respect has gone. Admins and moderators now seem to be inundated with violent insults, aggressive ramming and childish, selfish players who think they have a divine right to insult whoever they please without a care.

I loved it when CVT was about the players, the community, the fun and the events we held. Now, it has become a race to prove you're not a 'noob', and to get more score than the player you hate. This server can never return to it's glory days because of this hatred and anger.

Most of the players I knew and loved have left, mostly because of changes and arguments. They were amazing people, and whenever I logged on I would be waiting to talk to all the old legends and convoy with them and have fun, but now when I log on, all I see is either people arguing or spam.

I just wanted to give my views on the current state of CVT.

I miss the people. I miss old CVT.

It must be shit to be an admin at the moment, the amount of crap you get given is horrific. Why can't people just have a little bit of respect for each other!?

Back in  December i had the same feeling axi, but i realised time is just passing away, alot of old veterans tend to live in the past. And if there is 1 thing i have learned here is that looking back to the past just doesnt help. I am still here because i have fun in the simple things as cop/thief but mostly to play with other players. I dont mind if that player is a rookie or a veteran, i just try to give them a good time. You can either look for all the bad things that are happening in CT, or just accept the fact it isnt perfect, and never will be because we live in a online gaming community where everyone has different opinions and tolerance levels.


Just give the game and the community your best you, and try to look away for the simple complaints etc. thats something that always will be here

Boy... you have problems..... all members of staff and mick choose very carefully who they would like to be partners with on the front line, You were picked!. Sometimes this is a successful decision and sometimes it doesn't go to plan. The point is what you mentioned about both Konali and Rahali just shows how wrong you are.. everyone has bad days but these two people are the reason why i am still here today. They are NOT arrogant and they DONT have terrible attitude, if i had to pick someone with terrible attitude atm it would be you my friend.... these past couple of weeks you have been in your own little world where you seem to think you can rage at anyone and yeah when you read this you probably will start to rage at me! but do i care? I'm so glad i'm mostly inactive those days... As i probably said before , I'm still here because of the frends i've made and the community. Joshy and Lindsey are about to leave , Racer left , i've resigned and beeing inactive . Who's next? Also who will be chosen to fill out theyr spots in the Staff team? CVT felt down alot in my eyes. Also i like to live in the past because there are the majority of my frends (Veterans).

Hope that this server will rise and shine up again.

Look around. theres newer, more udated, freindlier Servers out there, I know, i moved on from this server, to a better Watched, and Managed server.

you moved because you didn't managed to find good friends. But if you try and stay here long time you will find how much this community is big, friendly, helpful etc.

I've been here for longer than you've been alive. I started here in 2010. Its been nearley 3 years, I've made freinds,lost some, and quit a few times.
This server just isnt what is was. The community is dieing, But mehsauce. I dont care.

Problem is if we could punish every player that lied in their ban appeal, or moaned on the server about their punishment we'd have no players, we have to accept players will be angry at their punishments, justified or not.

We also need to take reports as they come, and not focus as much on the past, unless it's a really bad past for the same kind of issue like Raymonds constant insulting, Now I didn't ban Raymond for 60 days, but I agree with the decision, so I posted that the ban was fair.

and btw CVT might be organized. but. sometimes. Players do NOT give a fuck about almost everything on server. which means most players here are arrogant. or/and fuckin terrible. aside from that cvt is pretty chill. it only needs like a "BIG ASS UPDATE LOLOLOL" suggestive name only ir something like that to keep the players alive on the server. because seriously.
i still play here for a small amount of friends only. like lind say on her 'i'm quitting' members topic. you get stuck with a 3 slot

around 2010 early 2011 it was. the thing is. all this bullshit at least in my viewpoint started, when the rumor of new admins began. imo the new mods (at the time) selection shoulda been confidential and no one shoulda knew before when Joshy or Konali (didn't remember) annouced the new mods.

Since then i noticed cvt went on a flame rage server. people hating each other creating small retarded groups;also zacco was the most calm admin i've ever seen he was neutral to everyone. cuz he didn't used to talk too much like vado said on his goodbye topic he was an example of being an admin is. even though his english didn't seem all that perfect.

Anyways; TL;DR

Server is dying. won't go to 2013 if stays like this, started when new mods were selected,zacco was the most finest admin

My response to this topic is that, this server is shit, its nothing like it was in the summer of 2010. I dont bother getting on because of the stupidity of this community. Some of the moderators are idiots, they only report people who are not their friends. I got banned because of that. Not going to say any names. But its a joke. This sever will not last another year, I will tell you all that. Even Joshy has said it before.
