The first computer OS that I ever used was Windows95. We had a dinosaur as a computer, but then we upgraded to 2000, XP, then from there to Vista. Now I am with Windows 7. But is Windows 8 really worth it?

First computer i used didn't have an operating system, was very different to windows based machines, the first windows machine i used was win95 however.

if it didnt have an operating system, was it really a PC then??


first computer I used had windows 3.1 on it, we still have  the install disk to 3.1 and 95 (or maybe its a rescue disk)

PC stands for "personal computer" as far as I know, so therefore any computer regardless of OS is a PC, fail question Ethan.


Of course it was a PC, it just reminds me of what command prompt is now, it was a command computer, nothing like todays computers, green screen, and the only interaction was through commands.
