We have tons of storage. More than the whole entire sleeper on that scania probally. we are made for storage, just these are custom trucks and you see one of these a day, and about 250 normal trucks in a day.. hah. I would agree that scania's are made for Europe, and petes,kw's,freighshakers, all that shit.. those are made for here. But... No compairsion, American trucks > euro (based on looks / power.)

This , the roads where i live are small so if you come here with an american truck you probably have like 75% chance to turn around at a big corner , when you come to the small corners like almost everywhere , then you probably gonna have -100% chance , cuz even scania have problems. I don't know if other country's are like myn , but its very hard to turn so Europe truck arent american truck both are diffrent things.. they still trucks but yeah

I would say that a full lenght rigid can carry legally more goods than your 53 greatdanes + better control over the trailer.

US max load weight is 32000 kg (32 t)
We have 48000 kg (48t) in sea containers and 42000kg (42t) in regular deliveries.
you got 2 axles, we have 3, we can have more load than you.

80,000 Pounds is max Well you can load more (legally) with Heavy Haul Permits.
Way it works here, more loads = more money
More weight = pushing truck to max = breaking engine = loosing money = retardation.

those trucks are build to handle those condition, if you're going to haul a CAT 777D that's the real problem
and it can decrease the pollution trucks, btw trucks with engine infront of it is shitty in handling...

requires much wider turning than european. and for me it looks like the american truck got more damaged than european (Looking by video posted by supra) European truck would plough through the car it would hit and probably the car would be under the cab on the engine compartment. So driver woudlnt be hurt so serius than on american if it gets hit another car.

Hooded truck = Smoother Riding. Because of longer frame. Our roads are "modern" we dont need Cabover trucks, the US already went threw that phase, theres a reaosn we dont use them anymore they suck. You guys drive on 200 year old + roads, they arent made for trucks.
US hooded trucks are safe. I'd rather have the engine if front of me, it will stop a car from going threw your cab. And its better in rainy/slick roads, More weight. Better controll/handeling.
